Could someone help confirm this, it was found in Google Flight document and Qatar Airline document

Planning to go to Nepal for about 10 to 12 days, this is for someone who was born in Nepal and recently became US citizen

3) foreign nationals are subject to hotel quarantine of 10 days' at their own cost in the hotels listed
by Ministry of Culture, Tourism & Civil Aviation / Nepal Tourism Board or CMC, Nepal, and permitted to work as per the purpose
of their visit only if tested negative on the 11th day,

Please help if you are naturalized US citizens of Nepal origin who have traveled to Nepal recently.

Thank you.

If you're fully vaccinated, you are good now.

I traveled in December. I had to show PCR test and fully vaccinated card to avoid quarantine. According to new covid policy by Nepal government, you don't need pcr negative result if you're fully vaccinated. However, Qatar may still require negative pcr, so you may have to do it anyway.

The travel advisory is specifically for the foregein travellers. You can see for yourself in the US embassy in Kathmandu website.

harkhe7 , Qatar airways will never ask for any pcr report , their website says they need it but for Nepal but gone are the days when airways used to ask for any PCR report . we are back to normal now . as per Qatar airways, website is not updated daily basis , dont rely on website information, you can call qatar airways to reconfirm of just print the notice for reference n you are good to Go

I just came back for 12 days visit. NO need to quarantine. You do need PCR before 72 hour from US bound but 24 hour from Nepal. And yes Qatar airlines will ask for the test result. Please make sure to carry VC
