I recently found out that F1 need to file tax during the year even they didn't work for whole year. Unaware of this regulation, I didn't file one year tax couple of year ago. I didn't work at all for that year. Am I in trouble? Is my H1 and greencard filing is in trouble? Is there anyway get away with this by paying fine or something? Suggestions from anybody who went through the same situation will be highly appreciated.
