I am trying to import a universe, I get the error "File Repository Server Input is Down".. When I try it with other computer with the same uname, I amable to import the universe. Anybody have any knowledge about this? Thanks

CMC--Servers and reboot the input server.

Option 1:

Pls. go to CMC and try to see which server is down.

If you seen "Input File Repository Server" is down, pls restart.. that should solve your problem

Option 2:

(If you have admin right) Open your Central Configuariton Manager and restart all the server.. if other are not login

Option 3:

If you are working from remote and don't have CCM ... go to CMC and restart "Input FIle Repository Server".....

These are the three options you can make your server work....

However, if your Universe is corrupt .. you have to talk with you admin or technical guy to get it from backup... (if you have one)

is there a tutorial for this software. I have hard time creating universes in Designer.. then i have to put it into class.. I am really confused.

don't you have a sandbox? In the BOE Server there will be login to two things, Infoview and CMC.
